The Love One Another Campaign is in full swing! Our parish’s participation in the campaign, along with all 188 parishes in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, will meet the needs of our parish and support Catholic ministries in our 10 counties of southeastern Wisconsin.
St. Thomas' goal is to raise $1,365,658 in pledges payable over five (5) years from our parish families. Sixty percent of the funds from these pledges will go toward our parish needs:
·Relocate the existing food pantry and install a lift
·Address the needs and safety concerns of our original church
·Construct a prayer garden and steeple memorial
·Enhance livestream capabilities
The remaining funds are for new and expanded Catholic ministries for:
·The poor and those in need
·Saint Francis de Sales Seminary
·Vital ministries throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee
When you receive your invitation to consider pledging to the campaign, please pray about making your best pledge.
Please join us in praying for the success of the Love One Another Campaign.
Almighty and ever-living God, we thank you for your blessings in our life.
We praise you for your goodness and generosity.
Help us to live as stewards of your grace and love, that through prayerful work and sacrifice, we may bring your love to our families, parish, and community.
We humbly pray for strength and fortitude to follow your great commission: to go make disciples of all people, living our faith through word and deed.
Inspire in your people generous hearts to strengthen the mission of our parish, to serve those in need, to support vocations, and to educate our children through the Love One Another Campaign.
Guide us in this important campaign, watch over our efforts to help build your Kingdom here on Earth, and give us joy in serving You and Your Church now and forever.
The Stewardship Committee is responsible for the ongoing stewardship efforts of the Parish to include time, talent, and treasure. The goal is to increase parishioner involvement in all Parish activities and ministries, which will promote a better sense of belonging and a sense of responsibility towards financial support. This committee is concerned with the renewal of Parish life and building a community among all Parish members through small group formation, social activities, good communications, welcoming and hospitality efforts including the development of new Parish members, and the coordination of efforts in evangelization. This committee is the vehicle for the promotion of the concept of stewardship in the parish, working closely with the Pastoral Council and other committees.
The Stewardship Committee conducts surveys a couple of times during the year at mass. The surveys allow us to tailor our ministries and practices meeting your needs, and your comments are always appreciated. We invite you to share your ideas or suggestions with us at any time at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Welcome Committee is an arm of the Stewardship Committee. Our mission is to help new parishioners feel at home at St. Thomas. Members make baked goods and deliver them to new parishioners, welcoming them to our Parish and inviting them to events. We provide information about the parish and welcome them to their first St. Thomas fish fry, on us! The committee keeps in contact with new parishioners for one year through email to ensure that they have settled in and feel comfortable in our Parish. If you would like to be a part of the Welcome Committee, please contact Mary Lenz at email@example.com. We would love to have you be a part of our team!
