The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Faith Community hosts several Fish Frys each year to help bolster the Parish General Fund to help defray costs and necessary building maintenance.

Currently, due to Archdiocesan Covid-19 guidelines, all Fish Frys are Drive-Thru only.

Everyone is welcome to help—students, parents, young adults, older adults…........
Everyone is needed.  It’s a lot of work...AND a lot of fun......try it out and see…….you’ll get “hooked!"

Here's How You Can Help:

Preparation 

Fish Cutters (11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) Cut fish to size - Need 4 people.

Kitchen Prep (1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.) Make coleslaw, scrub potatoes, fill tartar sauce, butter, sour cream cups, slice and butter bread, setup silverware and napkins - Need 15-20 people.

Fish Bakers (3:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Prepare and bake the fish - Need 3 people.


Fish Fry Service

Kitchen Workers (3:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Fry fish & French fries, prepare plates, take orders and deliver food - Need 24 people.

Dining Room Workers (3:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Clear tables, fill water and serve coffee, fill coleslaw bowls - Need 8 people.

Drive-Thru (3:45 p. m. - 7:00 p.m.) Take order and food order runners - Need 8 people.


Fish Fry Clean-Up

Cafeteria Kitchen (5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Wash pans, dishes, carts, clean counters and put supplies away - Need 3 people.

Batter Kitchen (7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) Refreeze fish, wash carts, clean counters, put supplies away - Need 3 people.

Dining Room (7:00 p.m. until done) - Clean tables, refill condiments, stack chairs, dump trash - Need 3-4 people.

Fryer Clean-Up (7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) - Return unused oil, drain hot oil, clean cryers, scrub baskets & fryers, remove the cardboard, dump trash - Need 4 people.
  
Floor Clean-Up (7:45 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) - Clean floor mats, mop all 3 kitchens - Need 3 people.

Help is needed on the Cleanup Crew!
