The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Education Endowment Fund's purpose is to create a perpetual source of income segregated from the operating funds of the parish, to help provide for Catholic education. The principle is conservatively invested to generate future income.
The Endowment Fund is administered by a Board of Trustees to ensure Catholic Elementary Education in the Waterford area. Endowment funds will be left intact -- only the income from investment is used and disbursed for the benefit of the Catholic education. Your contribution to the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School Endowment Fund will help ensure quality, Catholic Education for the future generations of students.
Contributions to the Endowment Fund will come from parishioners, alumni, friends, group/organizations who appreciate the value of a Catholic Elementary Education. All contributions are tax-deductible, if one itemizes. Contributions to the Endowment Fund are not to be confused with or replace ones' monetary obligation to his/her parish.
Cash contributions are encouraged, but gifts of any kind will be accepted. The Endowment Fund could be included in your planned giving, memorials, personal will, through a bequest, or stocks or bonds. This can be done by contacting your family attorney. A family event could be highlighted by a contribution to the Endowment Fund.
Your tax-deductible contribution to the Endowment Fund can be made anytime. Simply contact Blaise Beaulier, Director of Administrative Services at 262-534-2255.
The St Thomas School Endowment Committee has voted to provide grants to St Thomas Parish students for the 2021/2022 school year who attend a Catholic Grade School or a Catholic High School. They must be parish members for at least 2 years. The grants will be $750 per student for grade school students and $1500 per student for high school students.
