What is Scrip? A word used for ”substitute money"

It is a gift certificate.

It looks just like the certificates you purchase at the stores to give as gifts.

It is used just like cash. It is purchased by St. Thomas Aquinas from the Great   Lakes Scrip Center at a percent discount between 2% up to 20%

It is sold to you at face value.  A $10 certificate costs you $10.

You are simply buying your gift cards before you shop at the grocery stores, department stores, gas stations, and restaurants.

Proceeds earned are applied to the Fundraising portion of the current school budget.

Some things to consider when you think about taking part in the Scrip Program

Scrip does not cost you one extra penny.

Every time you purchase with Scrip, you are automatically making a gift to St. Thomas Aquinas School without it costing you more.

Think about the Christmas holiday gift buying and how you can save time by ordering gift cards through Scrip and not have to go to the mall.
