RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The RCIA process was developed as a dynamic process of conversion and faith formation which concludes with full membership in the Body of Christ.  The process itself recognizes that people come to us from different places in their faith walk.

The process recognizes and is designed to accommodate people who are not baptized, people who have not developed a relationship with the Christian community.  The RCIA program also accommodates those who are baptized as Roman Catholics but have drifted away from the Church and have a desire to reestablish their Baptismal relationship with the Church.

The RCIA team is made up of the parish clergy and trained laity.  Those entering into the faith walk are accompanied by parish members willing to be faith companions walking side by side with those wanting to further develop their relationship with God.

Meetings:  Sunday afternoons in the Gathering Space from October—April.
