Grade School Formation
Grade School Faith Formation
The St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School Faith Formation program offers students in Grades 1-8 opportunities to grow in their faith through regular catechesis. We strive to offer lessons and classroom activities that give insight into the message of Jesus, experiences of the Christian community and awaken a call to Gospel service. Lessons include teachings on Sacred Scripture, Tradition, Prayer, and Social Teachings of the Catholic Church.
Classes are held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School from September through May on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Please refer to our class calendar to see when classes are in session.
We recognize and support parents in their role as the primary religious educators of their children. Our aim is to partner with parents in developing a living and active faith for the children enrolled in the program. Our students are involved in various outreach projects during the year to benefit our parish and community.
We use the Christ Our Life series from Loyola Press. To access family resources, a spiral curriculum, prayers, retreats and more go to www.loyolapress.com.
